7 Daily Habits of Highly Successful People. |
They read a lot, Mostly Non Fiction
In teenage, we love to read romantic novels of Paulo
Coelho and other writers, but those books only help us in building vocabulary
but it hardly brings any positive changes in our lives. I have read all the
books written by Paulo Coelho but later when one of my mentor Sir Amir Jafri
recommended me Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, it changed my mind, broaden my
horizons and it compelled me to think about my existence in this vast universe.
Anyways, if you want to change your life and become a successful person, you
must read nonfiction.
There are excellent writers, what we need is just have to
Google “Best Nonfiction Books”. About 88% of the billionaires devote 30 minutes
or more each day to reading. Most of the rich prefer nonfiction books like
self-help books, biographies, and history. Billionaire Warren Buffett
reportedly once said that reading is the most important habit he’s picked up.
“I just sit in my office and read all day,” he said.
They Meditate to clear their heads and stay sharp
In this fast-moving world, we are always in a hurry, to
office, to school, to universality, to work. But we never think that it is
destroying our health. We barely concentrate on our health. Meditation like
yoga and prayers are a form of meditation in which a person just relaxes and
forgets the miseries of the hectic life. We must meditate at least 15 to 20
minutes a day to relax our mind and body. It also improves our memory in
addition to physical health.
They get up early
There is a famous English saying “Early to bed and early
to rise makes a man health, wealthy and wise”. This saying is self-explanatory.
This tells us the importance of getting up early. If you don’t believe it,
someday just get up early in the morning and experience for yourself. Because
we learn when we practice.
But they also manage to sleep a lot
There was a test conducted on the prisoners of the war
after World War – II when the prisoners were deprived of sleep for a few days
they died. After a tiring day, our cells need a good night sleep to repair
themselves. Albert Einstein said he needed 10 hours of sleep a night to
function at his best. So must sleep 8 hours a day.
They Make time for exercise
There was a documentary by BBC in which the presenter
says “there is no pill to stay young except exercise”. Exercise keeps us
healthy and young. It improves the blood flow of the human body and boosts our
immune system. Therefore, we must do any sort of aerobic exercise like running
or biking, etc.
They are working on communication skills
Communication is as vital for success like air is for
life. Every successful person must possess this skill. If you don’t have
communication skills, then you can only dream of getting successful.
Including talking to themselves
It is found that high-performing individuals have running
conversations with themselves. That doesn’t necessarily mean muttering to
yourself, though. “What allows them to beat their opponents is not more time
spent honing their skills, but more focus on perfecting their internal
dialogue,” Research has found that talking to yourself can help you see
situations objectively and motivate you.
